Pilot-Credits INpc155:Design for Indoor Air Quality and Infection Control

Design for Indoor Air Quality and Infection Control Documentation

Anyone with experience documenting this credit - did you submit with the design credits or with the construction credits? My project team was planning on submitting this with the other design credits, but we are rethinking this due to the documentation requirements (CFR, O&M Plan, Cx Plan). We aren't sure if GBCI will accept the the CFR/O&M Plan/Cx Plan in their current states; we have a preliminary Cx plan submitted to the Owner but not yet approved, a basic O&M plan, and the general (not project-specific) facilities requirements from the Owner.  We've completed the required design documentation for MERV 13 filtration and ASHRAE 62.1-2016 compliance. Does GBCI tend to accept the earlier iterations of these plans to document this credit, or would it be best to wait and submit the final versions of these plans with the construction submission after CA is complete?

Katherine, I am interested to know if you proceeded (or are currently proceeding) with a design submittal and if so what the response from the reviewers was/will be. We have uploaded our filtration information and ventilation calculations prior to design submittal on several projects because they are developed in the design phase and it's a good time for the engineers to doublecheck compliance. Since the ID credits are all under one form in v4 and there is no way to indicate which ones you are hoping to have reviewed at Design Submission, the reviewers have reviewed them and commented that "A copy of the facilities requirements and operations and maintenance plan and updated commissioning plan communicating the purpose and intended performance of IAQ related building systems have not been provided. Provide the required documents." They have not indicated that this needs to be a construction credit, so I am assuming they would accept living documents. Please respond if/when you complete your process.
