We are working on a LEED BD+C Core and Shell project in Hong Kong and are planning to purchase International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs) from ECOHZ to meet the Green Power and Carbon Offsets credit requirements.

Our specific questions are:

  1. If we purchase I-RECs sourced from China, will they qualify for this credit under LEED guidelines?
  2. What specific documentation or supporting materials are needed to demonstrate that the I-RECs comply with Green-e equivalency?
