Hi All,
Working on a project that is part of larger campus it is only a single building that is being certified. There is a seperate parking lot where there is no plan on designing new spaces in this parking lot for users of the new building only existing site. But there are plans for 4 parking spaces on the front of the new building. These parking spaces are disabled spots. Can we include these 4 and say we achieved parking space reduction from the local code which is 1 space per 50 squre meters. The building footprint is 2583m2. Thanks in advance for any help.
Kind Regards,
David

Hello fellow *Connell,
In our team's experience any parking space that is allocated for use by the building occupants will need to be included, even if they are not new spaces. So if any of those other parking lots are used in part by occupants, those spaces that are used would need to be counted. We work with the client team to get the answer to this.
Let me know if this helps!
