Credit - Advanced Energy Metering
My project involves a water-cooled chiller, and we have already installed an Advanced Energy Meter for chilled water. We have a question: Is it necessary to also install a BTU meter for the chilled water system? Are the Advanced Energy Meter and BTU meter two distinct devices?

Depends on what the Advanced Energy Meter measures. As long as you can measure or derive energy use from the meter, that is all that matters. If the Advanced Energy Meter does so no need for another one.
