Has anyone had experience with including vs excluding site water features (fountains)?
The Reference guide "Guidance" section states, "This prerequisite allows you to understand how much water your building uses for irrigation, HVAC, restrooms, pantry, cooling towers, and other fixtures."
I don't see water features listed.
Certainly potable water used to refill the fountain is part of the total potable water used for the project and associated grounds but it I'm getting hung up because if this were a BD+C project we would exclude outdoor water features in the Outdoor Water Use Reduction credit. Seems like it would be unfair to require inclusion for O+M if exclusion is allowed for BD+C.
