I have a residential project aiming for certification under LEED v4 NC BD+C (the buildings are over 8 floors). The Daylight credit includes "Provide manual or automatic (with manual override) glare-control devices for all regularly occupied spaces." as part of the requirement. Considering that each apartment will be leased to tenants, it would not be feasible to mandate the glare control device requirement through a commitment letter or contract.
Does anyone have advice on how to achieve the credit in this situation? Could I substitute this credit with the Daylight credit from the LEED v4.1 Multifamily residential rating system?
