NC-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Free fresh air provided to small rooms

I am working on a project with many small buildings connected to each other , some of the very small rooms may be designed with free fresh air entering through fresh air grilles not fans , is this suffecient for this credit ?

Hi Dina, if you are using wall openings covered with fins, you can only count free area and perform calculations based on either ASR, ASHRAE, or CIBSE Standards. Hi Dina, I wish to add based on the codes mentioned by Gustavo, basically you need to comply the followings:
- ASHRAE 62.1.2010 item 6.4.1 and 6.4.2
- CIBSE Figure 2.8 compliances
- To install CO2 sensor on each thermal block at human level with audible or blinking system when the level exceeds the set point
