CS-v4 SSc6: Light pollution reduction
Hello, in ש project we are working on, there are lighting fixtures under the handrails that illuminate downwards towards a staircase. They actually exist to prevent humans from stumbling on the stairs. The lighting area is MLO LZ3. Is it possible to exclude them in any way from the illuminance calculations?
Are these lighting fixtures and be defined as directional or marker lighting?

The exemption you are trying to use is for transportation. Arrows or markers for showing the vehicle where to go. "The edge of the runway is here" This wouldn't apply to pedestrians in any way. Area light is different from directional and marker lights.
The handrail lights need to be counted in the illuminance calculations.

In addition to the previous question - the project mentioned above has a playground lit by lighting fixtures around it. We want to check with you whether these lighting fixtures can be considered as landscape fixtures so they could be excluded from the lighting calculations if they are switched off between 00:00-06:00.
