Equipment Efficiency based on Table G3.5.1-4 or Table 6.8.1-4?

Hi I have a baseline system 5 and I need to find the equipment efficiency.

Per G.3.2.1 " All HVAC equipment in the baseline building design shall be modeled at the minimum efficiency levels, both part load and full load, in accordance with Tables G3.5.1 through G3.5.6. ....For Baseline HVAC Systems 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, calculate the minimum COPnfcooling and COPnfheating using the equation for the applicable per-formance rating as indicated in Tables 6.8.1-1 through 6.8.1-4." Which table do I follow? the minimum efficiency values from G3.5.1 are different from Tables 6.8.1-1.

Use the efficiency values from the Appendix G tables, not the Section 6 tables. The efficiencies are different because 90.1-2016 established a fixed baseline which is based on 90.1-2004.

Thank you Tyler. So where I have part load and full load efficiency for the unitary unit, do I have to use equation COPncooling & COPnheating (sectin G3.1.2.1) and apply these calculated values for the efficiencies of the baseline equipment?
