Greetings,
There is a question related to Option 3 of EQc4 – Daylight.
It has been mentioned (page 725), quoting: “Take one measurement in any regularly occupied month…”.
The question is: Should the measurement be taken in every month as shown in Table 4, or it could be taken in one month only. The same question is also related to the second measurement.
Your comments and interpretation on this issue is highly evaluated.
Thanks

You choose the month, provided it is an occupied one. The same for the second measurement, with respect to the interval , for a total of two measurement sets, both in occupied period

Thanks for the reply.
Regarding the measurement, if there is an office building having 10 identical floors, can we organize measurement to only two or max three floors instead of all 10 floors.
For eaxmple - the first, last and midlle floors.
Your advice and comments are highly appraciated.
Thanks

I received this guidance from GBCI on the subject: Note that measurements are unable to be taken on just a representative floor and used for other floors because daylight levels on each floor may not be exactly the same due to the difference in height, neighboring site features, etc...
This guidance does make for a lot of measurements and is certainly something we have had to consider on larger projects.
