sphagnum peat moss.

Hi!
Why should't imported soils include sphagnum peat moss? Is it to protect natural habitats with moss?

Hi Dionisio - I believe you're on the right track. I wasn't aware of this but apparenlty sphagnum moss bogs are threatened and harvesting them releases CO2.
