Dear all,
Should we test makeup water from the water source (incoming), or from inside the cooling tower itself?
I'm referring to the LEED wording in the reference guide stating that: "Chemically analyzing [makeup water] allows for calculation of optimal cycles"
So does it mean that we must analyze only makeup water before entering the cooling tower?

Initially the make-up water should be tested for the LEED credit; ongoing testing for longevity and efficient operation of the cooling tower includes testing both the make-up water and recirculated water.
good question.
