NC-v4 SSp1:Construction activity pollution prevention

Activity Pollution Prevention Plan

Hello,

We are redoing a recreational park and adding building and splash pads. After 8 months, we realized that we have not done any prevention pollution plan as a GC and not report were created. We are currently working on it right now, but still figuring out how to do it, you have any examples that what we should include? We receive on a daily bases engineers reports, can we use that?

Thanks,

Hi Heloise, what do the daily engineer reports include? The referenced standard (EPA General Permit) includes all the site protection measures you would need to inspect to generate the reports, so if these have been inspected over the course of construction you may not need to create new documentation.

Hello,I am also working on documenting LEED during the construction. My project has tree protection zones.  Should I be documenting these zones in my construction activity pollution prevention credit?  I did include it in the erosion and sedimentation plan; the trees are protected, mulched, and within the construction fence. Others are on the other side of the construction fence. Those, too, are protected.  I've been photo documenting this. Is this something that counts as best management practices during construction? Is this the right approach I'm taking?
