Hello,
We are redoing a recreational park and adding building and splash pads. After 8 months, we realized that we have not done any prevention pollution plan as a GC and not report were created. We are currently working on it right now, but still figuring out how to do it, you have any examples that what we should include? We receive on a daily bases engineers reports, can we use that?
Thanks,
Emily Purcell

Hi Heloise, what do the daily engineer reports include? The referenced standard (EPA General Permit) includes all the site protection measures you would need to inspect to generate the reports, so if these have been inspected over the course of construction you may not need to create new documentation.

The standard is here: https://www.epa.gov/npdes/epas-2012-construction-general-permit-cgp-and-related-documents It's a pretty long document, but some things to focus on would be dust control, slope stabilization, silt barriers at site boundary, and storm drain protection.

Thank you very much Emily. After verification i noticed that the engineer does not include those in his reports..
