NC-v4 EQc2:Low emitting materials

Clarification Re. General Emissions Requirement for Multi-part Acoustical Wall Treatment

We have a project with sound recording studios with drywall throughout and an acoustical wall treatment that will be assembled on site and attached to select portions of the drywall.

1. Does the acoustical wall treatment need to meet general emissions requirements, or just the drywall?

The acoustical wall treatment consists of untreated solid wood, metal wire mesh, and treated cotton muslin. Assuming the muslin has not undergone the general emissions test, and given that the wood and metal are exempt, the only option is to have the muslin tested, or use the budget method for the area or cost of the muslin. Is that correct? Thanks in advance.
