Vanessa Nelson

BIO

Vanessa is a LEED and sustainability consultant with a background in architecture. She has worked throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and abroad managing LEED NC, CS, CI and ND projects for a wide-range of market sectors, including healthcare and Labs, aviation, residential, commercial, education, retail, and hospitality.

Vanessa has volunteered for the USGBC-NCC including leading the LEED v4 Regional credits Materials committee. Vanessa also lends her time to local non-profits, such as Friends of the Petaluma River and the Jonas Family Fund Children’s Toxics Awareness Initiative, and she was Director of Research for an educational green building website.
