EBOM-v4.1 MRp3:Waste Performance

Waste audit

Hello everyone.

We have a hotel project that is inside a core and shell LEED Certified building.

The hotel has been operating for a few years so information regarding energy and water consumption is available and compliant.

However, there is no one full year of wate stream reports. The Referente Guide states one year data must be collected but that the full year might may not be entered into the calculations. Can the project achieve certification with less than one full year of data?

Additional question, USGBC has not addressed hospitality as a whole entire rating system, however, LEED User features two different types of rating systems:

-Hospitality EBOM v4.1, and;

-Hospitality Commercial Interiors v4.1

both with different requirements and credits that the ones listed in the reference guide from USGBC for Existing Buildings applicable to whole buildings a Interiors. Does anyone has more information regarding this matter? Thnaks in advanced!

Dear Jorge, 1.0 Data gathering: it is required a full 12 months for all performance-based credits (energy, water, waste, transportation, human experience) 2.0 Based on your project condition, it is a hotel located inside a base building/CS, where you are not tasked to manage the building exteriors nor the entire base building elements. Therefore it should be considered as an Interior O+M Project under LEED v4.1   Hope these helps. Regards, Eric Bautista, LEED AP
