CS-v4 LTc4:Surrounding density and diverse uses

Diverse uses

Hello,

I am working on a project which is located in an industrial park in Spain. To achieve the credit of surrounding density and diverse uses, I have located a gas station and a Lindt chocolate shop, that both are within the distance required. My question is if these two uses are valid to be count as diverse uses in this category or not, because they are not contemplated in the guide's list.

Thank you in advance.

Regards.

A gas station is generally not qualified, as it serves vehicles rather than people. However, if it has a convenience store, cafe, etc attached you can count that. Similarly, I think a chocolate shop would be too specialized to qualify, but if it has some "everyday" function like a cafe counter you could put it in that category.    I remember a thread a while back here asking if non-warehouse industrial projects could use the W+DC version of the credit, but it never got resolved...anyone have an update on whether GBCI has allowed that?
