The preferred parking spaces of green vehicles has to be, according to Reference Guide, on the shortest walking distance to the main entrance. In our case all the parking spaces are located on underground levels. We are considering placing the preferred parking spaces (green vehicles) on underground -1. Do the preferred spaces should be the nearest possible to the elevators lobby or can they be distributed along other locations within the parking level?

We've seen review comments that suggest the spaces need to be on the level closest to the garage entry (P1 or -1 as you indicated, if that's the first level with parking spaces) AND closest to the elevators on that level used to access the building.

Does anyone have experience with the "level closest to the main entrance" requirement? We have two levels of underground parking. If we put all the preferred parking spots on P1, some of the spots are actually quite a far walk from the entrance because P1 is very narrow... We would like to split the preferred parking between P1 and P2 and have them all clustered around the elevator bays.
