The owner has purchased RECs for a percentage of energy use of its whole portfolio of buildings, or campus. Can we earn this credit for a single LEED building with this purchase?

Project with PV - Calculating Green Power?

Hello! I am working on a project with on-site PV. When calculating the Green Power offset, do we need to offset the total modeled electricity usage BEFORE or AFTER subtracting the electricity generated from the PV? It's a rather large array (77% of total modeled elec usage), so the cost differential would be high. Thanks!
