Dear All,
I got so confused on how to treat the situation of my project. My project was registered as campus approach with 3 tower and currently I was already completing the mastersite submittals WHEN the proponent recently released an announcement that the 2 towers (T2 & T3) will be differed. How will be my approach to this since all the credit computation like SSc4.4: Parking Capacity were considered the 3 towers. Is it okay to compute the parking for tower 1 only and the two towers will be for future development (I'm not so sure if when and what building type it would be) OR do I need to secure the GFA and occupancy of the two towers for mastersite? Can I give a narrative description that the differed towers are for future development? (how will be my computation on this?)
Hoping that someone can shed a light on this situation. Thank you in advance!

Hi Kristen,
You didn't say if you were using group certification. My experience is with campus certification so there might be some differences. But you can always make any credit project specific. If the future towers are changing and you don't know enough to calculate their impacts, I would only use master site credits that you can be sure they will comply with and make everything else specific to the tower that you have.

I've done a few campus projects and 'LEED Campus' only seems to work well when we know about all the buildings and associated site prior to LEED application.
When future buildings are placed on the 'LEED Campus' we must resubmit all credit documentation that has changed when compared to the credits completed at the campus level.
Looking back at my 6 Campus projects....I don't think I would recommend using the Campus approach if every building (and associated site item) are not built at the same time. Not to mention that we now have to register under v4 when locating a building on our v3 Campuses.
Good Luck!
