My project is located in a fairly remote region that ironically is proximate to one of the few verified recycling rate facilities in my region, so we were lucky to be able to pursue this credit. Documentation is definitely simplified. But I must admit that I've been surprised by inconsistencies in the reporting from the receiver and the hauler that we used. When pursued further, the issues were with the receiving facility information. I did not expect that kind of situation with a verified receiver. So the waste reporting still needed to be reviewed.

I am attempting this pilot credit for a LEEDv4 NC project. There happens to be only one CORR certified facility in the area which is in reasonable proximity to my project such that the haulers have agreed to haul all the C& D waste to this facility. Any information on what to specifically review in the diversion reports received from the hauler will be appreciated. Should I check the diversion rates claimed by the hauler with the actual monthly diversion rates from the facility? Can i get access to the facility wide monthly diversion reports?

Kavita, If the facility that your project used is certified by the Recycling Certification Institute, the monthly diversion rates are availabe online for every month the facility has been certified at this website: https://www.recyclingcertification.org/certified-facilities/. Simply find your facility, and select "View Report". It will show the last 12 months, but you can also click the arrow in the "Facility Data" box to go back in time.
