Hi,

Struggling to find options for alternative transportation for a planned LEED EBOM project in Qatar :S

Is shuttle service offered by the building owner to commute buildings occupants from their homes to work acceptable?

I am not an EBOM expert. But it is all about results, and is less strict about prescriptive means. I would think this solution would count. Have you double-checked the guidance in the LEED Reference Guide, and not just the credit language, for indication of more examples on what this means?

Hi Shakir, just wanted to mention that the Transportation Modes table in the Reference Guide includes a 'rideshares' option. It's shown as applicable to non-US projects only and might fit what you describe. Otherwise I do think a shuttle service would qualify as a mode of alternative transit.
