Hospitality-NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Historic building adapted as Hotel - how is baseline treated?

Adapting an historic building as a hotel use with all new HVAC, power, water and all systems but no thermal improvements to the exterior envelope. Does the baseline case stay the same for the envelope conditions and all energy savings must be achieved with the systems? It is not based on a comparable new hotel building, correct?

Yes the baseline envelop would be modeled the same as the proposed. See Table G3.1-5 Baseline (f).
