if occupants do not have access to showers simply do not list them within the Indoor Water Use Reduction Calculator.

Hi David,
thanks for your feedback.
In a different project we do not have showers installed in the building we are certifying but they are accessible to building occupants in an adjacent building. Due to this we have considered them in LTc6 (related with bicycle facilities). Since these showers are out of the scope of LEED certification, we shall keep them out of Indoor water use reduction and water metering credits, correct?

If occupants have access to showers (even if located outside the LEED project boundary) you must include them in the water calcs when attempting points under the Water Use Reduction credit.
The water metering credit can still be achieved without metering the showers, I'd recommend reading the LEED reference guide to evaluate the project's best options for achieving this credit.

Waht if you project has no shower? Can you enter a line with a shower and then show that the design flow rate is 0 liter per minute. This shows that water is being saved by not having a shower. The points for the bicycle facilities are naturally not obtained, but can one get rewarded for saving water a result??
