NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

How to simulate the building with no conditioned areas

Our project is a garment factory building with no conditioned area, having majority floor area as production unit which is mechanically ventilated. The office & meeting areas in the whole building is less than 5% of the total floor area, which is also unconditioned (No heating or cooling equipment) and only mechanically ventilated. My query is can I simulate the whole building without any conditioned area, modeling ventilation fans & process load identically in both base case and proposed case and claiming energy savings only in the lighting system.

The problem will be getting the required savings since the garment production equipment will have such a high load in comparison with the building (ventilation and lighting) equipment.
