Using the LEED Pilot Credit Library

"Trying is no longer enough" - When did this change occur?

Our project registered for a pilot credit a couple years ago, and at the time, the publicly available pilot credit guidelines stated that projects would receive points just for attempting a pilot credit. You did not have meet all of the requirements in order to get credit. We recently received a review comment stating that we didn't meet the pilot credit requirements, but at the time we didn't have to. The statement above, "Earning the credits: trying is no longer enough," refers to this rule. Does anyone know when the pilot credit guidelines changed to require projects to meet all of the requirements? I already asked the GBCI via the "contact us" page, but their answer wasn't helpful. Thanks!

I just found this thread, and see that Adam's post is somewhat old, but never received a reply. I have had clients express the same concern "trying is not enough" when I have suggested PC's. Was there ever a resolution to this issue?
