Performance period table

Hi Gustavo, just a couple things to mention before I dive into your specific questions: overall you need to be sure that all performance periods (PP) end within the same 30 day window. Generally, teams will have a standard 3-month PP, with maybe a few credits ending within the broader 30-day window. And lastly, any given PP can last for up to 2 years total. I'll try to answer your specific questions but let me know if I missed anything: - calculation credits: these can be set to your "standard" 3-month PP, so all you need to do is make sure you're following the above rules and that the PP listed in the table is for at least 3 months. - waste audit: this needs to be conducted within the last 2 years, so you can set the PP to end at your normal PP end date, and just extend the credit PP back in time to capture when the audit was completed (up to 2 years back) - green cleaning policy: the signature date doesn't really matter in my experience, but I'd recommend having it signed sometime before the PP start date for the green cleaning prerequisite/credits (that way, it "applies" to the whole performance period) Hope that helps!

Hi Guys! Following up on Gustavo's question, I was wondering about credits that do not require a performance period such as Water Efficient Landscaping or Building Commissiong-Investigation and Analysis or Increased Ventilation, can we write that the credit does not require a performance period?  Thank you!

I'd recommend plugging your standard performance period into credits that don't have specific PP requirements. But do remember to meet all the PP rules outlined above for credits that require one-time assessments or audits. So for example, if your energy audit was completed 7 months ago, you should ensure your PP end date aligns with your standard PP end date, but your PP start date extends back 7 months in order to include the audit. Hi Folks, Following up on Trista's comment, do we have to do the energy audit within the performance period?? As far as I understood it, only energy metering (12 months) is done withing the performance period in v4 standard. Anyways, we have to do the retrofitting based on the findings of the energy audit, before begin the measurements, so it takes some time anyways. Appreciate any input.

Hi Divantha, an energy audit performed within 2 years of your performance period end date can be used. If the audit was performed within 3-5 years of the PP end date, you can use it, but you must update it to reflect current operational practices, setpoints, energy costs, etc.
