How can we demonstrate safe storage? Because in my first CI v4, the review team comment that It is not clear if safe storage and collection has been provided for batteries, mercury-containing lamps, or e-waste. And for the credit we explain that the building have a storage space and also the project is inside a CS v2009 Silver Certified building. I hope someone can give me some tips to achieve this prerequisite.

Brigitte, I am not familiar with how GBCI is reviewing this requirement. But a little Internet research turns up good third-party resources on safe handling of batteries, fluorescent tubes, etc. I think it would be a best practice to be familiar with those procedures, and reference them in your LEED documentation.
Anyone else have experience documenting this?
