Can I still earn this credit through green power or RECs alone?

Do onsite renewables count? 

The owner has purchased RECs for a percentage of energy use of its whole portfolio of buildings, or whole campus. Can we earn this credit for a single LEED building with this purchase?

The owner purchased RECs / carbon offsets based on an earlier prediction, but our energy model is now showing that we are just a little short of the credit threshold. What should we do?

Hi everyone

Has any of you used the http://www.ghgprotocol.org/calculation-tools to determine the quantity of mtCO2e needed to offset ?

The reference guide states that international projects may use WRI-WBCSD Greehouse Gas Protocol Standards but doesn't explain the documentation required to justify the fuel mix chosen. For Switzerland for instance the current mix is roughly 60% hydraulic and 30% nuclear. Neither of those appear as a fuel mix and depending on the fuel mix selected, the mtCO2e vary drastically (for 1000 MWh of electricity between 30 et 400).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
