I have a project in Holland which provides 2700+ bike storage spaces for 5000 occupants which clearly meets the intent of the credit as all other requirements are met e.g. Bike network proximity etc.
However, in Holland it is a cultural phenomenon that they do not provide showers in the workplace for cyclists as the dutch 'take it easy' on their way to work, and commute in their clothes for the day. Therefore, showers are not provided as people simply dont use them/ they are not required.
Would the USGBC take a view on this and allow the 2 credits to be awarded, as over 50% of occupants have a bike space and the proximity requirements are also met.
