CS-v4 WEp2:Indoor water use reduction

Commercial Toilets

There is a very specific comment that eligible toilet fixtures only include tank style fixtures. Yet I see commercial style flush valve fixtures on the EPA WaterSense website. Are flushometer toilets required to be WaterSense labeled or not?

We are also confused with this statement in the reference guide. It is in page 270 of LEED v4 Ref. Guide under "Step 2. Select WaterSense-Labeled Products". Any clarifications on this?

Hello this is Jenn from Atelier Ten. We received the following response from GBCI regarding a similar question: "Currently, flushometer toilets are not required to be WaterSense labeled. Projects are encouraged, but not required to use WaterSense labeled flushometer toilets as they become available in the market." Hopefully this reply will be useful to future users looking at this thread!
