Schools-2009 IEQc4.2:Low-Emitting Materials—Paints and Coatings

IEQ c4.2 Paints - Laboratory tests according to SCAQMD Rule#1113

In a LEED 2009 CS project in Brazil and a Epoxi Paint was used in a parking garage. The lab test indicates the brazillian standard ABNT NBR 16388 – (Determinação do teor de compostos orgânicos voláteis (VOC) por cromatografia e gravimetria) as the testing method. Is it adequate for credit compliance?

Yes, you have a lot of latitude here. Manufacturers are generally allowed to self-declare their VOC levels.
