Dear all,
we are currently working on a LEED Warehouses project including also some offices and a parking area. The owner will not follow the LEED Warehouses requirement for electrical connection at docks location (option 2) and doesn't have an on-site fleet for option 1 but he is willing to install EV charging stations on its parking. Is it possible for a LEED Warehouses project to follow LEED NC Option for EV charging station? or is it possible to do it as an Innovation in Design Credit?
Thanks,

Strictly speaking I think you can't meet this credit, if you can't meet the requirements.
If you can make a case that the warehouses-specific requirements don't apply to your situation for some reason, I think your best bet would be to inquire with GBCI to explain it and see if they will allow it. It might require a CIR.

Related - I have a warehouse project that is pursuing Option 2, but we will also have charging stations for the employees driving to the office portion of the warehouse. Can we also pursue the NC version of Green Vehicles as an innovation?

Hi Cindy,
Wondering if you attempted to submit the NC version of the Green Vehicles credit as an innovation? Or, if you reached out to the LEED Coach for further clarification? We have a project owner who is hoping to pursue Option 2 for Warehouses as well install EVs for for the office portion so I'm also curious.
Thanks!

Yes! We were awarded a point for pursuing LEED BD+C NC LTc Green Vehicles as an innovation. FYI - We haven't yet been awarded the Warehouse version of the Green Vehicles credit (it's currently under review for the second time).
