We have a project with a support building with no FTEs, hence, it is not a certifiable building according to the MPRs and we will only be using it to count the materials waste management. We are confused wether to count this area (around 1,100 sf) as hardscape area or as roof area for the Heat Island Effect credits. Has anyone documented this?

Daniela, why not include the building in the main LEED certification? That is often allowed.

The building IS located inside the LEED Boundary, eventhough it is only an electrical substation, that is why it does not comply with the MPRs.
