NC-2009 MPR4:Must comply with minimum floor area requirements

Project size extended in the middle of construction

My project registered for LEED 2009, mixed use building with 2 towers on the same podium. At first the project registered for LEED only 1 tower but later on the owner decided to registered for the other tower and the whole building as well. In this case, can we register for LEED as the same building, enlarged the area? And with the same LEED version? How?

They sound like two separate buildings and thus two separate registrations.
