Hi, My project is a retail fit-out where they are introducing bespoke-made furniture such as sofas and stools. The client is proposing a wool-based fabric for the sofas. Does anyone know if this wool is an "installed fabric" as referenced in the definitions section under "furniture and furnishings" and must be compliant with the furniture evaluation? My understanding is that the furniture evaluation just applies to new stand-alone furniture pieces, but the definition references "installed fabrics". What counts as "installed fabrics"? I also understood that in LEED 2009, this credit only applied to systems furniture, which my decorative sofa would not fall under, but now I think it has to be compliant, any thoughts? Any guidance is much appreciated.
