NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Hi All, I am working on a LEED NC 2009 project and have questions about filling up the v2009_Minimum Energy Performance Calculator_v06. Hope someone can give me some advice. Thanks. 1) In the 'Air-side HVAC' sheet, there is one parameter called Total heating capacity. I wonder if this number should be the same as the Total boiler capacity in the 'Water-side HVAC', if boiler is the only heat source. 2) Is it acceptable or normal for proposed model to have higher heating capacity than the baseline model? As the designed boiler capacity was oversized a lot. Thanks.

1. That would be the heating capacity for any unitary equipment and the coils in the air side equipment. The boiler capacity would not be expected to match this value, it could be higher of lower. 2.It is not necessarily normal but it could be acceptable. Providing an explanation for these kinds of anomalies is always very helpful to the reviewer.
