I am currently involved in a project for a K-12 school which is comprised of a new building (classrooms, teacher rooms, common areas, auditorium, library, bar and parking) and an existing building that will be renovated (teacher rooms, parents room and canteen). The two buildings will only be connected through an underground corridor that connects the parking garage (in the new building) to the locker rooms, canteen and teacher rooms (in the existing building). Is it possible to certify both buildings within the same certificate? And is it possible to certify only one of the buildings?

Do they have separate mechanical systems?
It sounds like two separate buildings and LEED projects.
