Non-default Historical Occupancy Rate for Hotel Project

I am working on a hotel project that has historical occupancy rates of 80%, which is higher than the LEED default rate of 60%. Has anyone ever successfully used historical hotel occupancy rates in lieu of the LEED default, and if so what documentation must be provided?
