Trying to get EQc1 without installing a visible alarm

We are working to certify a NC. The tenants will not allow us to install a alarm in the presence of the customer. How can I still acheive this credit - We are willing to attach the alert to the building BAS system. Any comments?

The credit language states "via either a building automation system alarm to the building operator or a visual or audible alert to the building occupants".
