Is there any way around the requirement that no more than 30% of the materials used to meet Option 2 be structure and enclosure items?

If Sustainable Agricultural Network (SAN) certification isn’t required for agricultural products to comply with Option 2, does the manufacturer still have to provide documentation of third-party verification?

Does anyone know if GBCI will accept a Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified sourcing label instead of FSC? They both promote sustainable forestry practices and have a chain of custody program.

Leanne, they are not equivalent, no. See the guidance above and elsewhere on this site for more. Also look at the "legal wood" pilot credit for areas for there is some equivalency.
