The project seeking LEED certification includes air-to-water heat pumps (4-pipe), that are able to produce hot and chilled water (simultaneously or separetly). This type of equipment does not seem to be listed in ASHRAE 90.1 - 2007 tables 6.8.1. My questions are: 1- Can you please confirm that Is this type of equipment is not listed? 2 - Is it exempted of water chilling packages minimum efficiencies requirements as per section 6.4.1.3? Thanks in adavance

1. I think you are correct. 2. If it is not listed it is exempted and there is no minimum efficiency required. This sounds familiar from a previous question in this or another related forum. You might find a more thorough answer.
