NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

G3.1.3.13 in Tab. 1.4

I modeled a baseline model with System 7. The reviewers wrote that in Tab. 1.4 insufficient information was provided about the VAV reheat boxes, in particular as for G3.1.3.13. I'm using Revised Section 1 4 Tables (Jan 2014). How could I show that the model respects paragraph G3.1.3.13? Best Regards

Hi Francesco, I recently received a similar comment regarding section G3.1.3.14 (and others) 'not being clear in Table 1.4'. As you probably noticed there is nowhere to report input information about this sections, which makes things confusing. I responded with a narrative of inputs I used and corresponding outputs reports assuring the reviewer it was correctly modelled. I did this briefly within table 1.4, at the end of 'Air-sIde HVAC Details' and referenced the extra narrative. Since I received comments like this, I decide to always input an extra narrative with info about every Ap G section that is not referenced at Table 1.4 and a brief analysis of the results and mayor savings too, which I usually do anyway when I report results to clients. Hope that helped.
