I am looking to install hvac load reduction system (HLR ), the system functions by recycling the existing indoor AIR and removes CO2 and other indoor air contaminants, resulting in reduction of fresh air required indoor . will such a system allow reduction of the fresh air load (CFM) set by ashrae 62.1.

I've been hearing about these systems. As far as I know, ASHRAE 62.1 would have to include an exception to allow this. Or short of that, you could get an engineer to vouch for it, though GBCI might question their opinion.What are your thoughts?
