Energy Model for Healthcare/Assisted Living

Hi, my project is registered under LEED NC but it's a healthcare related question. I did pose the question there but no one could help. I am working on an assisted living project, and our owner thinks there are exemptions or additional credits that can be claimed on energy models for healthcare projects. What I think he is describing would be deviating from the usual methodology to allow for differing schedules/setpoints/setback schedule/lighting power/ventilation/etc. between the baseline and proposed models, to account for special conditions in an assisted living facility. For example, using a higher than normal cooling setpoint because this population will want it warmer than typical (credit for less cooling). Or allowing for higher lighting power density than usual since more light is required for a population with failing eyesight. Is anyone aware of such an approach for healthcare facilities, that might allow for different modeling methodology, or an exceptional calculation, or something along those lines by which additional credit can be claimed?
