I didn't know there was a complete overhaul on the LEED online EAp2 form until I was about to enter my results. It seems like we need to use a new Minimum Energy Performance Calculator instead of Table 1.4. And all the energy parameters will be input in there. I wonder if there is a way to use the 1.4 instead since we have complete all the work in there and the new calculator is quite different. We all have registered email with LEED but I don't know why USGBC wont notify us with such a big change in documentation.

Also, I found error even before I started using it. The Energy code used only have 90.1 2010, which is incorrect for LEED v2009. Also the form is extremely slow, everytime I fill in something, it will take more than 20 seconds to respond.... I don't know why USGBC will allow such a immature change to take place without even notifying anyone. I have contacted USGBC but still havnt heard anything yet. Does anyone have the same issue? This change is probably only related to newly registered project using EAp2 v7 LEED online form.

I'm really frustrated with this update. There are numerous macro and formatting errors with this calculator which make it impossible to complete. This is probably not even tested before it was post online and made mandatory for all new projects to use. I can tolerate the slowness of the old LEED online form but this update has shown me a new level of sloppiness of the USGBC software development team...

I would probably be tempted to only complete the modeling results portion of the new form and upload the old Table 1.4 file.

Haojie - Yes - there is a lot of frustration with the changes to LEED Online that occurred with the January 2016 v06 forms update, which are just being discovered by teams. I have a new forum I am hoping to update soon with additional information on update - http://www.leeduser.com/strategy/leed-online-status-updates. After meeting with staff, USGBC has promised an article on the changes and I will update my forum's article as soon as I can after it is released. I have also sent USGBC staff a link to your comments above regarding the issues you've uncovered.
In the mean time, are you sure that correct Minimum Energy Performance Calculator? There's one for v2009 - http://www.usgbc.org/resources/minimum-energy-performance-calculator-v2009, which uses ASHRAE 90.1-2007 and one for v4 - http://www.usgbc.org/resources/minimum-energy-performance-calculator, which uses ASHRAE 90.1-2010.

Thank you for posting your feedback regarding the new 2009 Minimum Energy Performance Calculator. We sincerely apologize for the issues you have experienced.
There was unfortunately an error in the 'Energy Code Used' field that referenced ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G instead of ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Appendix G, and California Title-24 2013, Part 6 instead of California Title-24 2005, Part 6. Our apologies for any confusion caused. We have corrected this error and reissued the calculator which can be downloaded here: http://www.usgbc.org/resources/minimum-energy-performance-calculator-v2009.
We are working on additional performance improvements with the new v06 forms and calculators. For the time being, LEED v2009 projects may download and complete the v05 sample form (http://www.usgbc.org/sampleforms/v3) and EAp2 Section 1.4 Table (http://www.usgbc.org/resources/eap2-section-14-tables-new-all-bdampc-pro...) to document compliance for EAp2: Minimum Energy Performance and EAc1: Optimize Energy Performance. Please ensure to upload a copy of the sample form and Section 1.4 Table files to the EAp2 prerequisite.

Absolutely this workbook needs help. The one model i have approved i simply wrote out all the things it broke on and this was accepted in the review.
