CS-v4 EQc1:Enhanced indoor air quality strategies

Interior Cross-Contamination Prevention, Industrial Curtain Wall

Our project contains a theater scene shop including a small area where spray paint will occasionally be used. Three sides of the space are deck-to-deck partitions including an opening with one self-closing door. Sufficient exhaust will be provided to this area using a Nederman fume extraction arm. For the fourth wall, we are proposing an industrial curtain wall sealed at the ceiling and both sides (such as http://www.amcraftindustrialcurtainwall.com/products/curtain-enclosures/#Option1). A deck-to-deck fourth wall cannot be provided due to the flexible use needs of the space. Given that curtain systems are used in auto body spray areas to meet EPA NESHAP standards, is this system an acceptable approach to meeting the intention of the interior cross-contamination component of the Enhanced Indoor Air Quality credit?

Lauren, I would say it is, given the documentation you are referring to.However, it will have to pass muster with GBCI and I can't say I'm 100% sure of their opinion. Have you heard from them?
