Have there been any exceptions to the walk-off mat length requirement when vestibules are located at an exterior entry? Our project is designed to have 8 feet of length within a vestibule, and additional length would be very challenging due to adjacent program. Thank you.

Maria, I covered everything that we've seen on this issue in the FAQ above, under "I do not have 10' of space inside my building entrance to install a walk-off system. Can I include one on the exterior? Can the shape be irregular?" Take a look at that and post followup questions here.

Thank you, Tristan. I figured it had been covered comprehensively already, but I had not seen reference to vestibules. I will discuss our approach for this credit with the rest of my team.
