We have a PV array installed on our campus, under the same ownership, but not on the building or within the LEED project boundary. Can we count that toward EAc2?

Power generated in Mini Hydro Power Plant

Maybe. Is it on-site or nearby the project? Does it meet the hydropower definition? Does it just feed this building or others too?

Hi Marcus, a. Client needs to get the certification for the mini-hydro project itself b. There would be two buildings; power house and the staff accommodation building c. Electricity will be connected to the national grid d. Power generation will be less than 3MW Can this project be classified as Low-impact hydroelectric power systems? Thanks,

Look at the Low Impact Hydro standard to see if it meets the criteria for that classification. http://lowimpacthydro.org/low-impact-criteria/ If you do both both buildings under one LEED certification and it qualifies as low impact hydro you should be able to count all the renewable energy it generates.

Hi Marcus, Got a reply from USGBC regarding above; recommending us to comply with Green-e standard despite the fact that projects in Sri Lanka cannot be certified using Green-e. Would you be in a position to assist me with finding Green-e standard document? Regards, Keerthi

Complying with the Green-e Standard does not make any sense for this credit.
